Dawn is dark, human has to walk!
Yes! The doc has advised me a daily walk.
No gracious green gardens or spacious green grounds yielded space.
Thus the rugged black roads have become the timely treadmill.
While I walk, my thoughts wander as I ponder.
Yes! The doc has advised me a daily walk.

Thus the rugged black roads have become the timely treadmill.
While I walk, my thoughts wander as I ponder.
Dewy dawns are not new to me…
These have given me my captainship and under-officership.
No one can ever touch the pretty pinnacle
without smelling the sweet smell of the early dawns.
Green plants are smiling; are they laughing?
Are they laughing at the obese flesh mountains,
moving around like bulldozers, in the garb of walking?
Pedigree dogs staying in their luxurious kennels
bark in rough bass voice at straying stray dogs.
Country pigs, on city streets, with their litters rule the road
and run around the filthy slush grunting merrily.
A flash of brightness is on the rag picker’s face
while he sees a bag of rags on the gutter-side.
A gang of gangmen and women sweep the roads.
These are the insignificant panting ants
attired in dirty dress, parading for cleanliness.
Poster-pasting boys do paste the poster-boys’ posters on walls,
which are already overloaded with posters and cow dung,
and they don’t care whether these walls belong to some one.
A green passer-by person, with “beedi” in his mouth,
laughs in glee at the ever-green actor/ess on the green poster,
unknowingly he corrupts both his psyche and physique.
People like bees throng the half-opened tea shops
to sip a cup of “dust” tea and start the day with a buzz.
These shops remind me of the fair-weather colonizers
who mercilessly uprooted living green trees
to have their green tea gardens and coffee estates.
I see many cycles and old mopeds hurrying to work.
No BMWs, No Fords, No Hondas…
The early “poor” birds have to catch their worms.
Later the “rich” birds will grapple with green stuff.
The polluted breeze tries to invade the atmosphere.
Humans laugh! Children cough! Plants sigh! Animals and birds sigh!
No wonder, the earth is green around the gills!
Dawn is here! Greens in fear!
Leaders in cosy AC, sign “green treaty"
The sun smiles!
